East Lansing Residents Directory is a privately operated reference. It describes and links to public rolls, record indexes, and historical directory collections relevant to East Lansing, Michigan. It does not host government records and has no affiliation with a public office, court, library, or records custodian.
2. Permitted Use
Use the directory only for lawful purposes. You may not use it, or material reached through it, to:

The directory’s original text, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. You may link to a page and quote a brief attributed excerpt. Republishing full pages or systematically copying content is not allowed.

We may revise these terms by posting an updated version here. Continued use after a revision means acceptance.
10. Access Restrictions
We may restrict or block access, without notice, for a user who violates these terms or misuses the directory.
11. Governing Law
Michigan law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Public-record access discussed here is subject to Michigan Freedom of Information Act, 1976 PA 442, MCL 15.231–15.246, and to record-specific statutes and court rules.
12. Severability
If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
